Originally from Liverpool, and currently living in Kent, the fabled Garden of England, with my partner and three sons, two dogs, and an abundance of chaos.
I can usually be found wandering round the countryside, family in tow, exploring gardens and ruins; watching genre movies; buried in a good book; playing something like Skyrim or Fallout; or enjoying a glass of wine. On occasion, I can somehow balance all of this together.
I can usually be found on one form of social media or other, even if I struggle to work out what’s hot and what’s not these days. @Truejdk, or @truejdkwrites will probably be me.

I used to drop by your blog every now and then to see if you had posted anything, and you never had. Now I find out you have a new blog with all sorts of stuff happening. Good stuff.
