Originally from Liverpool, and currently living in Kent, the fabled Garden of England, with my partner and three sons, and commuting daily to the Big Smoke of London.
A self-confessed geek, my passions include (in no particular order, and by no means limited to) the board games Talisman, King of Tokyo, Munchkin, and Gloom; books by Jonathan Maberry, F Paul Wilson, Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Brian Lumley, and the obligatory HP Lovecraft; Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Supernatural, Haven, A Town Called Eureka, Warehouse 13, and The Walking Dead; more films than he can possibly begin to count (but a particular fondness for the Evil Dead trilogy, the Friday 13th series, and the original Star Wars trilogy); Batman, Spiderman, the Justice League, Deadpool, Hellblazer, Sandman, Locke and Key, and The Stuff of Legend; and, of course, his family.
My debut novel, Clown, was a testament to my life-long passion for fantasy. Since publishing Clown, I have recently been involved in the creation of H.B. Peculiar’s First Cause, a collection of eight sci-fi short stories from independent authors – the first in a planned series of genre collections, and followed this with a collection of my own short stories, entitled In The Mourning and Other Dark Tales.
